India Home Schedule 2021-22: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule of matches to be played on Team India’s home soil in the 2021-22 season. The Indian team will play 4 Tests, 3 ODIs and 14 T20 Internationals in the country from November 2021 to June 2022. According to the BCCI, teams from New Zealand (November-December), West Indies (February 2022), Sri Lanka (February-March 2022) and South Africa (June 2022) will tour India in the next eight months.

Meanwhile, the Indian team will tour South Africa in December 2021-January 2022. According to the BCCI, the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be organized in April-May (2022). The Indian team will play 2 Tests and 3 T20 Internationals against New Zealand. Team India has to play 3 ODIs and five T20 matches against West Indies. The Sri Lankan team will play two Tests and three T20 Internationals on the tour of India. The Indian tour of the South African team will be of 10 days, in which they have to play five T20 International matches.

When will the matches against New Zealand be played?
After the T20 World Cup, the Indian team will play 3 T20 and 2 Test matches with New Zealand. The first T20 match will be played in Jaipur. The second and third matches will be played in Ranchi and Kolkata. These three matches will be played from November 17 to November 21. Two Test matches against New Zealand will be played in Kanpur and Mumbai. The first test match will start from 29 November and the second test will be played from 7 December.

Know the schedule of Team India with West Indies, Sri Lanka and South Africa
West Indies team will play 3 ODI matches with India from 6 February 2022 to 12 February 2022. These matches will be played in Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Kolkata. Apart from this, three T20 matches will be played between the two teams in Cuttack, Visakhapatnam and Trivandrum. Sri Lankan team will play two test matches on India round. These matches will be played in Bangalore and Mohali. The Sri Lankan team will play three T20 matches, which will be held in Mohali, Dharamsala and Lucknow.

Apart from this, after the 2022 IPL, the South African team will visit India in the month of June. A 5-match T20 series will be played between both the teams. These matches will be played between June 9 and June 19. The venues of these matches will be Chennai, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Rajkot and Delhi. The venue for 17 limited overs matches has been selected under the rotation policy. In this, Jaipur, Ranchi, Lucknow, Visakhapatnam, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Cuttack, Trivandrum, Chennai, Rajkot, Delhi will get a chance to host.

Due to this the number of T20 matches has increased.
A BCCI official said, “We have kept 14 T20 Internationals because there is another World Cup to be held in Australia within a year. We need to play a sufficient number of matches before that big event.” In the four Test matches, two matches against New Zealand will be played in Kanpur and Mumbai, while the matches against Sri Lanka have been handed over to Bangalore and Mohali.
