A loud sound much like that of an explosion was heard this morning at a city some 32 km from Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru. The sound was reported from Bidadi, house to a number of quarry companies.
The police management room within the city denied any explosion. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre, or KSNDMC, mentioned they haven’t picked up any explosion-like spike in sound of their knowledge.
“Data was analysed from our seismic observatories for any seismic signatures or possible earthquake signals during the said period. The seismographs show no signatures of local tremors or earthquake,” the KSNDMC mentioned in a press notice.
An analogous sound was additionally heard on July 2 in Bengaluru, which was believed to be the sonic growth of a jet plane when it went sooner than the pace of sound. The Bengaluru-based Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, or HAL, routinely perform check flights.
The Indian Air Force had, nonetheless, denied any position in what many suspected was a sonic growth.
