    Chennai Super Kings Beat Mumbai Indians By 20 Runs Ruturaj Gaikwad Smashed Not Out 88 Runs

    Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians: Chennai Super Kings defeated Mumbai Indians by 20 runs in the first match of the second half of IPL 2021. Chennai had scored 156 runs for six wickets in 20 overs after playing first. In response, the Mumbai Indians team could only score 136 runs in the allotted overs. This is the sixth win for Chennai in IPL 2021. Now it has 12 points in eight matches.

    Mumbai had a bad start

    Ruturaj Gaikwad played a wonderful innings for Chennai

    Electing to bat after winning the toss, Chennai Super Kings had a very poor start.     Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ravindra Jadeja shared an 81-run partnership for the fifth wicket after four wickets fell for just 24 runs. Jadeja was dismissed for 26 runs in the 17th over. He hit a four in his innings of 33 balls. Bumrah, playing his 100th match, dismissed Jadeja.

    On one hand, where Chennai batsmen were getting out on the lines of Tu Chal Main Aaya, on the other hand opener Ruturaj Gaikwad was showing his class. Gaikwad played a brilliant innings of 88 not out. This is Gaikwad’s fourth consecutive fifty in the UAE. During his half-century innings, he hit 9 fours and four sixes. At the same time, Dwayne Bravo also scored 23 runs in just eight balls with the help of three sixes.
