IPL 2021: Former RCB Fast Bowler Kulwant Khejroliya Joined Delhi Capitals, Replaced Siddharth Manimaran


Indian Premier League: Before the second half of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals has made a change in their team. Actually, spinner Siddharth Manimaran has been ruled out of the second leg to be held in UAE due to injury. After this, the franchise has included left-handed fast bowler Kulwant Khejroliya in the team as his replacement.

Let us tell you that Kulwant Khejroliya was already a part of the bio bubble of Delhi Capitals. He was associated with the team as a net bowler. But after Manimaran’s injury, the franchise has included him in the team. Khejroliya has previously played in the IPL for Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Khejroliya has taken three wickets in five matches of IPL. His best performance is two wickets for 33 runs. Khejroliya, who plays domestic cricket for Delhi only, can prove to be quite fatal in the UAE. Because the conditions there are favorable for his bowling.

The first half was postponed due to Corona

Let us tell you that the first half of IPL 2021 i.e. the first phase was postponed after some players got corona infected. IPL 2021 started in India in April itself. But it was postponed after the players got infected. Now the tournament will start once again from September 19.

The first match will be played between Mumbai and Chennai

Let us tell you that the first match of the second half of IPL 2021 to be played in UAE will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The remaining 31 matches of IPL 2021 will be played in the second half. The final match of the league will be played on October 15.
