    MS Dhoni on Ambati Rayudu Injury: In the first match of the second half of IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings started their campaign with a win by defeating Mumbai Indians. Dhoni credited this victory to Ruturaj Gaikwad, who played an unbeaten 88, and Dwayne Bravo, who was a blast with both ball and bat. After this he also gave a big update on Ambati Rayudu’s injury.     After Chennai’s win, skipper Dhoni said, “Ambati Rayudu was smiling. It means his hand (arm) is not broken. He has four days now and that should help him.”

    During the innings of Chennai Super Kings, Ambati Rayudu was injured by a fatal bouncer from Mumbai Indians fast bowler Adam Milne and had to return to the pavilion after retiring hurt. When Rayudu came to the crease, at that time 2 wickets of Chennai had fallen. Rayudu could not handle Milne’s dangerous bouncer on the third ball of his innings and the ball hit his elbow, after which he groaned in pain.     Chennai had scored 156 runs for six wickets in 20 overs after playing first. In response, the Mumbai Indians team could only score 136 runs in the allotted overs. Opener Ruturaj Gaikwad played a brilliant innings of 88 not out for Chennai. During this he hit 9 fours and four sixes. This is Gaikwad’s fourth consecutive fifty in the UAE.
